Slick Vik

Slick Vik, aka Vikram Rastogi, is a Sammamish-dwelling 18-year old rapper who enjoys bragging about his degree in thugology and encouraging aspiring cool people to wear their hoodie halfway. These things are in fact, important components to maintaining ones reputation, especially one who is "reppin Sammamish." So here is, "Hoodie Halfway." The song features the Quadratic Emcees and KAotic. Watch the video..

Buy Slick Vik's music on iTunes—no that ain't no joke. Fa sho this is the next high school Tunecore exploiter. No kidding the debut only lasted about a year. Notice how the "LISTENERS ALSO BOUGHT" section consists of "Jibbs featuring Jibbs," "Ay Bay Bay," and "DJ Jazzy Jeff & The Fresh Prince: Greatest Hits," among others.

It is only too bad that y'all can't experience the true beauty of "Tha Legacy." This album was a classic, complete with, "Haters," "Police," Police Pt.II," and my personal favorite, "Thugology." This album survived a well-rounded three years before it was either recalled by the managers of the Tunecore-iTunes relations, or Vik took it down himself, simply as a gesture that it should remain in exclusiveness. Either way, the suthenticity is evident.
