This song is crazy! "I'm in love with the disco sirens!!" over some fake funky bassline and a quivering bass drum. Now, anyone mildly affiliated with the 2007-08 dance music scene knows that only one act can pull this off and that is Justice. Then upon further research, sure enough! Produced by Justice. But Midfield is a DJ, right? So if Justice is producing, and who knows who is doing those exceptionally stressed-out vocals, then what is Midfield General doing? Anyway, it's fucking incredible.
A couple days ago I discovered a Culture Prophet remix of a song called B-Boy Underground by Digikid.84. Then, anxious to here what mastery stemmed off such a remix. I realized shortly after hearing a little bit of the original it that I actually liked the Culture Prophet remix more. Strange isn't it? On another note, NEW MICKEY FACTZ SONG!! WITH N*E*R*D*!!!! Who would've thought? Actually, judging from his also unexpected "SUPPOSED" (i secretly suspect its bootleg) collabo with Royksopp, people who downloaded his new mixtape would perhaps think, as alluded to in a previous post. Anyway, it's pretty good!
